Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by the people and places in many areas of the world.  This fascination has taken me to the wonders of worldwide travel.   My first major venture was to live in Morocco for 2 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer; I spoke Arabic, lived in a village and  learned the local customs.  From there I traveled to French West Africa;  Ivory Coast, Togo, Dahomey, Ghana, Upper Volta,  & finally to my destination of Timbuktu in Mali.  I later lived in the Philippines, visited Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tokyo, Kyoto & other cities in Japan.  Then, like many of us, I settled into a business career & made several trips to Europe & other areas during short vacations.

It wasn’t until retirement that I again have found the time & opportunity to rediscover the wonderful World of Travel.
